Engagement Photos at The Charlotte Fair = FUN

As a wedding photographer in Charlotte, North Carolina, I have had the pleasure of capturing engagement sessions in some unique and memorable locations. One of the most exciting and fun-filled engagement sessions I have photographed was at the fair.

There's something special about the fair, with its bright lights, colorful rides, and delicious food. It's a place where couples can let loose, forget about their worries, and just have fun together. As a photographer, I love the challenge of capturing that energy and excitement in my photos.

When my clients, Shannon and Malik, told me they wanted to do their engagement session at the fair, I was thrilled. We chose to do the session during the evening when the lights and colors of the fair were at their best. We started by capturing some candid shots of them enjoying some cotton candy and popcorn. Sarah wore a flowy dress that was perfect for the occasion, and Malik was dressed in a casual button-down shirt and jeans.

We moved on to the rides and captured some fun shots of them on the Ferris wheel and bumper cars. I made sure to capture the laughter and joy on their faces as they enjoyed the rides together. The fair provided the perfect backdrop for some unique and playful shots that really showcased their personalities and their love for each other.

One of my favorite shots from the session was when we found an old-fashioned carousel with beautiful horses. Shannon and Malik sat on one of the horses, and I captured a romantic moment between them as the carousel spun around. The colors and lights of the fair added a magical and dreamy quality to the photo.

Another great spot for photos was the mirror house. Shannon and Malik had a blast walking through the funhouse and taking pictures in the crazy mirrors. We ended the session with some final shots of them playing games and winning stuffed animals together.

Overall, the engagement session at the fair was a blast, and I loved the opportunity to capture the excitement and fun of Shannon and Malik’s relationship. As a photographer, it's always exciting to shoot in unique and unexpected locations, and the fair definitely provided that. I can't wait to see what other adventures my future clients will take me on. And I would love to be known as the Disney World engagement photographer as well :)
