What I Like The Most About My Job

The world of photography has always intrigued me and I’ve had a camera in my hand since I was a kid. However, my career started off in the kitchen. For about 15 years I worked in restaurants and casinos along the Mississippi coast and right here in Fort Mill, SC. It’s no surprise that after running a restaurant and catering many weddings as an executive chef, I’m now running my own business. What’s more, I’m still very much a part of the wedding world. It’s just in a different role. This time I’m the photographer. (I’m also a licensed officiant. Maybe I’ll get more into that later in life.)

What I like the most about my job as a photographer are the people I meet and photograph. Whether it’s a bride and groom, high school senior, or the kids I meet in the schools and out on the athletic fields, I enjoy being a part of people’s milestone moments. Big or small, I enjoy capturing those memories through my lens.

My wife, Jaimee, and I have two children, Eden and Ella. They have been my inspiration for years, and if you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you’ve no doubt seen them in a candid moment or post. Someday I plan to take them all around the world exploring, and you bet I’ll bring my camera.
